How do I schedule or book a service?
Call, Email or Check Out the Website
5280 IV prides ourselves on making this process easy and convenient, especially because you already do not feel well. We offer a variety of ways to book our services including phone, email and our website.
We recommend for same-day services to book either through our website (click on 'SERVICES' page, select your treatment and book) or call us at 303-437-8979.
For advanced services, we recommend emailing us at schedling@5280iv.com or using our website. You can also call us.
Once I schedule, what is the process like?
What to expect from us -
Once you have selected your service(s) and date/time, you will receive a confirmation email. Double-check that all the provided information is correct including treatment, payment and address. You will receive a second email, later in the day, with the provider we have assigned you, including their name, photo, service level (Paramedic or EMT) and contact information. We are coming to your home, work or hotel and want to make sure you know who is coming!
When our provider arrives, they will ask you some short and simple medical history/information questions. The provider will ask some questions about your current condition and get an initial set of vitals. We will then discuss the treatment with you including what to expect, any side effects, and the procedures involved. If you have any questions, please ask us! After all the paperwork is done and you are ready to start, we will get your treatment started!
Once completed, we will disconnect and remove the IV, check your vitals again, ensure everything is cleaned up and taken care of, and then we will let you get back to your life!
What happens if something goes wrong during my treatment?
We come prepared for everything....
IV therapy is a low-risk activity with infrequent incidents of things going wrong, but things can happen during your treatment. Luckily, you are in good hands. All of our providers are certified Paramedics and EMTs with 911 experience and years of training - training that makes them prepared for any type of emergency.
Our providers have set protocols and will treat pt's appropriate to their condition and what is happening. Treatments can range from stopping your IV therapy to supplying live-saving Epi and contacting 911. Whatever occurs, our staff will keep you safe and treat you appropriately.
If 911 is contacted, your provider will obtain your destination and the transporting agency. Our directors and medical direction will follow-up with you to ensure you received the care you needed.
